Our organised Conferences focus on specialised technical fields as regard to energy, oil and gas, gas processing and petrochemical plants, Subsea, Underwater technology, maintenance and safety involved in upstream and downstream activities. we have been around the oil industry for over 32 years. We know the issues and technologies that are in the forefront of the energy industries and we bring them to you in various forums and exhibitions in Asia. And, we bring the people who make decisions, have the expertise and are willing to share their experiences and successes for the overall good of the industry.
PetroMin/Hydrocarbon Asia's objective is to organize low-cost but knowledge-packed events, which would economically benefit the attending delegates as well as companies presenting the papers.
We provide a platform for you to present, exchange and share information on your experience with others. Sharing the expertise greatly benefit not only the companies presenting technical papers but also the participating delegates of the conference. A speaking slot offers the ideal opportunity for you, as a speaker, to increase yours and your company's profile within the market and network with a highly focussed audience. This is the occasion, when professionals meet other professionals, and delivering your presentation gives our delegates a chance to listen to your technical and business solutions to the challenges and discuss your experience.

Presentation of papers
As selected conference papers will be published in our magazines, preparation and submission will take in three steps:
(1) Abstracts
The author should submit an abstract of no more than 400 words in MS WORD format and should state clearly the objectives, subject matter and conclusions.
(2) Final Paper
All final papers (for presentation during conference) MUST be in 'text format'. 'Power Point' submissions alone in the final paper for publication will not be considered, but the presenter should present his paper using Power Point that covers the main points of the paper and various illustrations. Papers of mainly commercial content are not encouraged. The final paper will be a part of the Conference Proceedings, which will be distributed to the attending delegates.
(3) Conference Papers for publication in our magazine/s
All papers for publication in our magazine/s MUST be in written 'MS word format' so that later publication in one of our magazines - PetroMin, Hydrocarbon Asia, PetroMin Pipeliner, RAMS Asia - is possible. These papers, which are presented during the conference can exceed the limit imposed and now can be amended with updated information/points, or additional illustrations, if the author thinks that his paper can be expanded to highlight the technology and practices.
The text document, preferably in Word format, can be submitted by e-mail as an attachment, but should not include any embedded graphs, charts or pictures. These should be submitted as separate TIFF, JPEG, PowerPoint or Excel files. Alternatively, it can be sent on Zip disk or on Compact Disk (CD). Where necessary, the graphics files should be WinZipped before sending, to reduce file sizes.
